DRDP access wall-charts
The Desired Results Developmental Profile access is an observation-based assessment tool designed to help teachers determine a child’s level of mastery in order to measure developmental progress. Please refer to the DRDP access Manual for instructions on using the instrument and for examples for each Indicator and Measure.
The DRDP access wall-chart is designed as a quick reference to the Measures and their Developmental Levels.
Suggestions for Use
- Post the complete wall-chart in your classroom to help your instructional assistants, parents, and others working in your classroom become familiar with the developmental sequences of the DRDP access.
- Post sections of the wall-chart in areas of the classroom where they are most relevant to help assistants and volunteers understand that developmental progress occurs through play and daily activities.
- Encourage staff and volunteers to contribute their observations of children’s mastery of the Measures, using the wall-charts as a guide.
- Use the wall-chart as a handy reference for yourself while observing children’s skills in typical routines and activities.
