1. DRDP Guidance for IEP Teams for Children Entering Preschool Special Education
This document describes the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team’s roles in selecting the appropriate DRDP instrument and determining adaptations for preschool children entering special education. The Guide includes a worksheet for selecting an instrument.

2. National Early Childhood Transition Center Resources
TThe National Early Childhood Transition Center's mission is to examine factors that promote successful transitions between infant/toddler programs, preschool programs, and public school programs for young children with disabilities and their families. Its primary objective is to investigate and validate practices and strategies that enhance the early childhood transition process and support positive school outcomes for children with disabilities.

3. Transition Alert April 2009: New Technical Report Available on Review of Transition Research
Researchers at the National Early Childhood Transition Center (NECTC) have conducted a review of existing refereed research on early childhood transition. The report includes key findings, promising practices, and future directions for research.
