1. New Online Learning Module: Using Adaptations with the DRDP Instruments
This module provides an overview of the adaptations that are used with the DRDP instruments for preschool special education. It will help you understand the seven adaptations, how they are used, and how they enable children with IEPs to be most accurately assessed in their typical settings. You can complete this module in about 10 minutes. You can access the module, and the other four modules in this series, at http://draccess.org/prodevelopment/learningmodules/
2. Assistive Technology for young children with disabilities
The SEEDS Workgroup on Early Education Technology (SWEET) addresses areas in technology for young children identified by staff and consultants throughout California. Visit the links in the preschool section: classroom environments, peer play, literacy/learning, mobility, AT systems/AAC and IEP/Standards. Visit the SEEDS Assistive Technology at http://www.scoe.net/seeds/resources/at/at.html
