A Guide for District Administrators, Teachers, and Data Entry Clerks

The Special Education Desired Results System, or SEDRS, is a secure online database for assessors and administrators to upload, enter, and review assessment data from DRDP Information Pages and Rating Records. This guide will help you create a new account in SEDRS.

To best use this training guide, go to the SEDRS website, www.sedrs.org, and follow along.


To create an account, you must first contact your SELPA office and ask them to e-mail you account registration instructions (an example of these instructions is shown to the right). In these instructions, the most important information is the 6-digit SELPA password, which allows you to begin the registration process.

You have been given permission by your SELPA or District Administrator to create an account with the Special Education Desired Results System (SEDRS). The following is some basic information to help you create an account and start using the system.

Your SELPA password is 123456
You need this password to enter the SEDRS system and create an account
You can create your account at the following web page:
www.sedrs.org/registration

After typing your SELPA password into the web page you will be prompted to enter your contact information. Your e-mail address will be used as your login ID for the SEDRS system. Make sure this e-mail is accessible from the computer that you will be using to enter data.

Your password is case sensitive so please be careful to remember whether you have used lower/upper case letters for your password. If you forget your password, you can retrieve it by clicking on "Forgot your password?" on the SEDRS login page at www.sedrs.org and by following the online directions to reset your password. Once you have requested to reset your password, SEDRS will e-mail you a link to reset your password from password@sedrs.org. Please put password@sedrs.org on your safe e-mail list so that e-mails from this address do not go into your junk mail or get flagged as spam.

After receiving your registration instructions, go to the SEDRS registration webpage at www.sedrs.org/registration and enter the SELPA password.

Once you’ve entered a valid SELPA password, complete the registration form.

The e-mail address that you provide will become your SEDRS login name. For security reasons, please do not use the SELPA password from the previous step as your personal account password.

After completing the registration process, you may log into your account at any time by going to www.sedrs.org and entering your registered e-mail address and password.

Be sure to sign out when you have finished your SEDRS session to ensure that your data is secure.
