SEDRS Topic:
Entering DRDP Records into SEDRS
A Guide for Teachers and Data Entry Clerks
The Special Education Desired Results System, or SEDRS, is a secure online database for assessors and administrators to upload, enter and review assessment data from DRDP Information Pages and Rating Records. Only teachers or data entry clerks can manually enter DRDP records into SEDRS. For information about importing multiple records through a SELPA administrator account, please see our tutorial at www.draccess.org/reporting/sedrstopics.html.
To best use this training guide, go to the SEDRS website, www.sedrs.org and follow along.
To enter DRDP records, first log into your teacher or clerk account. Then start a new DRDP-R record or new DRDP access record by clicking the corresponding links on your SEDRS home page.
To find and complete a record that you began but did not complete, refer to pages 5 – 6 of this document.
If you do not have a teacher or clerk account, contact your SELPA administrator for account registration instructions.

After clicking “Start a new DRDP-R record” or “Start a new DRDP access record,” enter the child’s information from his or her DRDP Information Page.
Next, click Save and Continue to save the data and continue to the next screen.
Ensure that the data you enter into SEDRS matches what is recorded on the child’s paper Information Page.
SEDRS will automatically save every time you click Save and Continue.

After entering the child’s Information Page, enter the ratings for each Measure on the child’s Rating Record. The number of Measures depends on the assessment tool; 48 Measures on the DRDP access and 39 on the DRDP-R.
If a measure is marked “emerging,” check “EM.”
If a Measure is marked “unable to rate,” check “UR” and select “Absence” or “Other” from the drop-down list
The screen-shot on the right was taken from a teacher account; note that clerks have the option of checking “Missing Data” if there is no rating for a measure or if the rating is illegible. Teachers do not have this option because they complete the assessment and have the information to complete every Measure.

After entering the contents of the child’s Information Page and Rating Record, review the information on the Check and Confirm page.
To edit data from this page, click on the corresponding heading above it (e.g., click on “School/Program Information” to edit the record’s School Code).

To find DRDPs in SEDRS that are “In Progress,” click “Find DRDPs” from the Home Page or the top of any screen.
On this page, select “In Progress” to limit your search to records that you have begun to enter into SEDRS but not completed. Finally, click Search to move to the Search Results page.
You DO NOT need to complete all fields on the Find DRDPs screen to find a record. Assessment period is the only required field.

On the Search Results page, select the record you wish to edit by clicking on the child’s name. This will take you to the Check and Confirm page. From this page you can review and edit information or continue a DRDP record already in progress.
Be sure to sign out when you have finished your SEDRS session to ensure that your data is secure.
